Kaeden Cornell scores Chili Bowl ride with Daum Motorsports

Highly touted dirt late model prospect Kaeden Cornell is set to make his Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals debut at the 35th running of the crown jewel event.

The 19 year old Willard, MO native will team up with three time POWRI Midget Champion Zach Daum in his quest for the Golden Driller.

Cornell burst onto the scene in 2017, having since scored a pair of 3rd place points finishes at Lucas Oil Speedway as well as collecting 4 “Most Popular Driver” awards. He also found success in the 2020 World of Outlaws iRacing Series, racking up seven Top-10's in eight appearances.

“I’ve been dreaming of running this event since I was a little kid in go-karts. It’s an honor to not only just run in the Chili Bowl, but to do so in equipment as great as Zach’s,” Cornell said, “This is something I’ve wanted since I was seven years old and to have the chance to enter and perform well for our partners so early in my career is truly special.

The 2020 Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals is set to take place between January 11-16 from the River Spirit Expo Center located in Tulsa, OK. The event will be broadcast on FloRacing Monday through Friday before switching to MAVTV on Saturday night.
