Kaeden Cornell Lands Top 5 Finish at Lucas Oil Speedway

After Mother Nature rained on his initial plans, Kaeden Cornell headed to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Saturday evening competing in a field of 12 ULMA Late Models. Gaining one spot in his heat, Cornell rolled to an 8-lap heat race win. Earning the second-starting position for the A-Main, Kaeden dropped two spots to place fourth behind Johnny Fennewald, Aaron Marrant, and Cole Henson with Larry Ferris coming in fifth.

1The following night at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned West Plains Resaw Back to Business 30, Cornell’s lap time in qualifying was disqualified, sending him to the tail of his heat. Coming in ninth, Kaeden transferred into the B-Main for one more shot at the $9,000-to-win A-Main. Needing a second place finish or better, Kaeden Cornell fell three spots short with a fifth place outing.
