Pair of DNF's with Lucas Oil MLRA at Lucas Oil Speedway and Randolph County

Saturday night saw Kaeden Cornell return to action at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) for the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned Ron Jenkins Memorial. In a field of 27 cars, Cornell edged his way into the $6,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth place finish in his heat. Rolling off 14th, Kaeden was an early retiree from the 40-lapper on lap 24 with carburetor issues.

1On Sunday afternoon at Randolph County Raceway (Moberly, Mo.) for the Scottie 46, Kaeden posted a sixth place finish in his heat race, which positioned him 16th on the starting grid for the finale. With $5,000 on the line, Cornell ran into overheating issues early in the 46-lap affair that sent him pitside for the remainder of the evening. (Todd Boyd photo)
